We have dined at the famous Aria in Sydney and thought we'd treat ourselves to a night out for a special birthday.
Portions were exceptionally small, the cutlery barely cut through the meat servings. Wait staff were ok. Sommelier was good.
Overall we felt the meals are overpriced. We left wondering if we'd made the right choice of restaurant and that's not how you should leave a fine dining experience.
Food was up to the usual high standard. Service was good but not excellent-drinks order forgotten but picked up by a different waiter.
Upon leaving we were given a complimentary gift, two small sweet cakes, problem being that they seemed to be kitchen rejects.
They were over cooked, burnt to the extent that we couldn't eat them. Hence four stars for the overall experience.
From the moment you are recieved at the door you feel welcomed and valued. Ther service is amazingly efficient and freindly. Even the staff not waiting your table will say hi and have a chat and a laugh without in any way being intrusive.
Food is to die for! Yes it's an expensive meal and not a place you wouls eat at every night but we will definately be back. Haven't stopped telling our freinds how great our night there was!!!!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Aria. Food was fabulous to look at and to indulge in! We'll be back! The food was great and the service was some of the best I have ever had.
Very well done. Great venue, with excellent views. Good service. Very disappointed with the menu and plates purchased.
Extremely expensive for that quality of dining experience. With some high end restaurants there is the odd disappointment, with a part of a dish or one item of service - this was not the case here - met outside the restaurant with an offer to take a photo of the family - all dishes were perfect - great night.
Unbelievable service paired with amazing food. An experience not to be missed. A very special experience. The food and ambience were exceptional.
The service was very good, however, there were parts of the evening where the staff had too many tables to look after, and therefore our glasses sat empty for quite a while.
We put ourselves in the hands of the sommelier. The champagne choice was superb, but the wines chosen to accompany our meals were not wow material, which was disappointing.
Overall a beautiful evening, a stunning restaurant and definitely go to Aria again. Always a pleasure to dine at Aria Brisbane.
It's our go-to spot for all important occasions. Our table of 4 yesterday all enjoyed a beautiful lunch and lovely wine. My dairy and gluten intolerances are easily navigated and the chefs serve up amazing, tasty, options.
Beautiful setting, exceptional food, very happy with service. We had previously eaten at Aria Sydney and were keen to try Aria Brisbane.
I was pleased to see a totally different menu to Aria Sydney they focussed on local food. Even though we had asked for it to cooked to Medium it was still very rare and I was disappointed in it.
The presentation of all the dishes was impeccable, and the service was excellent. Not worth the hype. Food options were very limited and not very exciting.
Came expecting more. Could have impressed with better choices of proteins and better sizing of entrees. No creativity and further adding a from the grill section brings the restaurant down a notch compared to other fine dining offerings.
Waitstaff and service however was excellent with the restaurant in an excellent location with great views. View Website.
